Communications Officers Specialist
Communications Officers support BRPD by operating communications equipment, keeping records, dispatching officers to calls, and communicating with agencies, businesses, and other organizations.
Shift Hours
- Days | 5:25 a.m. – 5:25 p.m.
- Evenings | 5:25 p.m. – 5:25 a.m.
- Fixed shift with rotating days off
Salary
- $14.29 hourly/$2,600 monthly
- Raise after six months to $2,678 Monthly
- Annual merit increase
College incentives
- 80 hours – $750.00 annually
- Bachelor’s degree – $2,000.00 annually
- Master’s degree – $2,500.00 annually
Shift differential pay
- Nights – $1.00/hour
