Criminal Information Specialists play a crucial role in BRPD’s daily operations. This position involves reviewing and responding to requests for information from law enforcement officers working in the field through radio communications or other necessary means. EARNINGS
As of Sept 10th, 2022, a new, Criminal Information Specialist can earn up to $35,130 after one year.

Base starting salary while in the academy | $29,578 – annually |

After six months from the date of hire (3% merit increase) | $ 30,466- annually |

Shift Hours
- Days | 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Evenings | 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (additional $0.50 / hour)
- Nights | 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (additional $1.00 / hour)
- Fixed shift with rotating days off
